Wuxi 0137

Three dark sections are split by the bright reflection from the river. The city gives way to the dark clouds and are topped by a bright orange sunset.

One Fine Adventure: Wuxi, China

The rainy season in Wuxi was filled with grey overcast days for weeks and has recently let up with a drastic increase in heat. Unfortunately the humidity from the rainy season has stuck around leaving the majority of Wuxi’s population incredibly sweaty. That is not true. I am incredibly sweat and most other people look comfortable. Either way, this shot is from the roof above the 29th Floor, but I am putting it in the series either way.

I love watching the city prepare for the night while the sun sets. The rooftop vantage point is a great place to watch the buildings light up while cargo ships continue their constant march up and down the Grand Canal. Wuxi does not stay up very late, but from sunset until about 10pm the buildings are decorated with trip lights and a nearby bridge has LED lights strung along the suspension wires.

I am openly appealing to anyone who might be interested in printing and displaying my images.
