Today in China

View From Chunshen Bridge

Wuxi, Jiangsu, China

Chunshen road runs along the western edge of my community and is a regular walking route for me. A walk along the bridge is wonderful at sunrise and sunset and reminds me of a view of Chicago from Lakeshore drive. Most people from Chicago will know the view that I am talking about.

These two images were captures with a Minolta Rokkor 35mm f/2.8 Shift CA lens on a Canon 5D MKII . The Minolta Rokkor shift lens has opened up a new realm of creativity in a land of diverse geographic city and landscapes. Returning to a manual focus lens and old glass has brought a warmth and depth of colors back to my digital camera.
