Langtang Prayer Wheels

M. James Thompson

One Fine Adventure: Langtang National Park, Nepal

Our path along the Langtang trekking route to Kyanjin follows a river upstream. Along the way many tributaries feed the river and at some places are perpetual prayer wheels that have been installed in the streams. The wheels are powered by the movement of the water. These are great places to catch a rest and enjoy the sites and sounds of the area.
